My soul is home in the country. In rural areas of California, I grew from a teenager to the father of a teenager. My childhood was in Los Angeles suburbs, when I was able to move away from L.A., I moved to a rural area. Old farm houses, agricultural fields, wild hills, and lovely river beaches became my adult home.I'm now grandfather age, more than twenty years living in cities, but when I think of home, when I imagine comfort, it is rural, it is the open land and sky, the quiet, the wildlife, the smell of sun, dust and old wood.
