I have a few Flipper experiences both early and late, I'd love to hear your Flipper story.
I'm interested in how the skinhead invasion played out in the '80s. A friend, RK, told me some things about what it was like in New York after I left in '82. The continuing build-up of aggro or nazi-like gang violence throughout the '80s.
The violence thing is GREATLY over rated. I can personally tell you who were the obnoxious violators some who you may know (actually) I am sure you will know them by name and let me tell you we (the) older kids hehehehehehe didn't tolerate that kind of thing. oh oh oh oh I wish I had the time. There was 1 point when the 1st hard core kids came around and an almost incident between them and us...actually I think I was in the front for the old guard and roger from agnostic was muscleing for the skin heads. Yes we called them skin heads because they had no hair and that was how we ID'd them But never the less all was aborted and roger and I became great friends as well as the pleasure of knowing vinny for sooooooooo many years.Saturday, February 23, 2002
